Many may consider the Toastmaster Waffle Maker because of the fact that it is a Belgian Waffle Maker with a
budget friendly price tag.
But often, low cost kitchen appliances fall short of their pricier competitors by having less features and
performing more poorly. Is this the case with this waffle maker? Let's
take a look.
Toastmaster Waffle Maker Features
4 Section Belgian Waffle Maker
Nonstick Surface
Nonstick Hinge

Auto Temp Control
Upright Storage

White Exterior
Cord Storage
Toastmaster Waffle Maker Pros
Easy storing. The upright storage feature of this waffle maker means it will leave only a
small footprint on your kitchen counters or whereever you choose to store it.
Easy to use. A nonstick surface and automatic temperature control means that the
Toastmaster is easy to use. An indicator light will let you know when the unit is heated and ready to go but you
will have to keep an eye on your waffles since there is no timer. Three to four minutes is recommended for baking
waffles but the exact cook time will likely depend on the batter you are using and your personal browning
preferences.
Low Price. The Toastmaster Waffle Maker is one of the lowest price Belgian waffle makers
you can buy.
Toastmaster Waffle Maker Cons
Not a lot of features. This waffle maker is a rather no frills model. Although it makes
Belgian waffles, it doesn't have particularly deep wells. It doesn't have a timer or other function to let you know
when waffles are done. There is no browning control to adjust how dark your waffles will cook. It doesn't flip or
rotate like some waffle makers. But this is to be expected because it does have a more budget friendly price. If
you want a lot of bells and whistles, the Toastmaster Waffle Maker is not for you and you should consider other
options.
Toastmaster Waffle Maker Customer Reviews
This waffle maker didn't receive the best customer reviews. Half the reviews I could find on it were negative.
Probably the biggest complaint consumers made about this product was that the nonstick surface was wearing off.
Summary
In my opinion, the Toastmaster Waffle Maker isn't the best waffle maker out there. Yes it does have a low
price, but if you spend another $10 or so you can get a much better quality product. I suggest checking out the
Presto Flipside Waffle Maker which costs slightly more or the Proctor Silex Waffle Maker which is priced about the
same. Both received much higher customer reviews and are in my opinion are better low priced Belgian waffle maker
options.
Couldn't find a youtube video demonstrating how the Toastmaster Waffle Maker worked, but here is a great one
about making waffles:
