The
Presto Waffle Maker is many things. Affordable. Easy to use. Easy to clean. And easy to store. If you are looking for
a Belgian waffle maker with a lot of features, this is the best one you can get in it's price range.
In fact, this is one of the best waffle makers you can find for under $50. It has a lot to offer for the price
and with tons of positive consumer reviews on this one, it really is a good pick.

Presto Waffle Maker Pros
Affordable. This is one of the best waffle makers you can buy and out of the couple that
I believe are the best, this one is the lowest price. The other one is the Kitchenaid Waffle Maker and it costs
about 4-5 times as much. The Presto Flipside Waffle Maker has a lot of features for the price and
produces really good waffles.
Upright storage. This waffle maker locks
upright so it can take up less space while being stored. Upright storage means a smaller footprint when storing
your waffle maker.
Flip rotation. With a 180 degree rotation, you can get more even batter distribution
which helps produce more even, consistent waffles.
Easy cleanup. The Presto Flipside Waffle Maker has a non-stick surface so it is easy
to clean up after use.
Large waffles. This is a Belgian waffle maker so it produces one large 7 inch waffle at a
time. They have extra deep pockets and four quarters.
Presto Waffle Maker Cons
No browning control. Although some waffle makers, like the Waring Pro Waffle Maker, have browning controls so
you can adjust the level of darkness, this one doesn't. You can, however, have some control over how brown your
waffles turn out by leaving them in longer. Most consumers found that between 3 and 4 minutes was the ideal time to
get the results they wanted for a waffle. A few baked their waffles for 5 minutes.
Timer. This Presto Flipside comes with a countdown timer with a digital display. However
many consumers had complaints about the timer because it runs on batteries, not electricity like the unit itself.
So eventually the batteries will go dead and requiring replacing. It's one of those product design quirks that
a lot of people found annoying although I certainly don't think it is a reason to refrain from purchasing this
product.
Presto Waffle Maker Reviews - What Do Consumers
Think?
The reviews for the Presto Flipside Waffle Maker were for the most part positive. Most consumers gave the waffle
maker high ratings. Comments I saw described the waffles it produced as large, thick, fluffy, and restaurant
quality.
As far as complaints, a small percentage of the reviews I read were customers complaining of their Presto Waffle
Maker dying within a year. This does not appear to be the norm though. Other complaints I found about
this waffle maker were about the battery operated timer and the lack of temp control. It seems the lack of a
temperature control caused some people to have issues with the waffles being either undercooked or overcooked.
