The Oster Waffle Maker doesn't have many features. But it does produce 4 square 4 inch waffles at at time so it
is a good option for larger families who want to make a lot of waffles quickly. So if you are looking for a
frill-free waffle maker that puts out a lot of waffles, it might be for you.
Oster Waffle Maker Features
Nonstick interior
Cool touch handle
Black exterior
Auto shut off
Upright storage
4 square waffles per batch
Oster Waffle Maker Pros
Easy storing. The upright storage means that it is easy to store this waffle maker. It won't take up much space in your kitchen.
Auto shut off. If left on, the Oster Waffle Maker will automatically shut itself off
after a while.
Low price. It is one of the lower priced waffle makers you can purchase. Part of this is
due to the fact that it doesn't have a lot of features like other waffle makers.
Easy clean up. As with most kitchen appliances, this one has a non stick surface which
makes clean up after using it a very easy task.
Oster Waffle Maker Cons
No timer. Although it has an indicator light to let you know when the appliance is heated
up and ready to use, it does lack a timer to let you know when the waffles are done baking. You will have
to keep an eye on them or set a kitchen timer once you determine the best baking time for them.
Summary
Although the Oster Waffle Maker does an adequate job, customer reviews were a little mixed on this one. For
around the price you would pay for this one, there are some better options in my opinion.
One is the Presto Flipside Waffle Maker. It
has more features including a timer and flip rotation. It costs a little more than the Oster.
The Proctor Silex Waffle Maker is also more highly rated and a really good option. Both of these produce
Belgian waffles though. If you are interested in one that makes regular waffles like the Oster, try the
Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker.
